Frequently Asked Questions!

Do I have to replace the floor in my kitchen?

Not necessarily as we are able to cover the existing footprint to some extent if your layout is not changing drastically. This is achieved by making the cabinets slightly larger to cover the existing foot print. If you are however completely changing the layout of your design, some small repairs will have to be done by you or by a flooring trade at your expense. Always best to inform our designer about your flooring during your site measure quote

Does the new flooring get installed before or after the kitchen installation?

We strongly recommend installing your new flooring after your cabinetry has been installed. Installing the flooring after is a much better overall finish for your kitchen renovation. This helps to hide any gaps that may be caused from your base floor being out of level.

Make sure to discuss your new flooring choice with your project manager so they can design the cabinets to suit this flooring to allow your dishwasher to fit under your bench height.

Can I supply my own plumber & electrician?

Most certainly you can provide your own plumber & electrician. The only part with supplying your own trades is that you will need to make sure they are available on the dates & time we supply you with. This is to ensure the project runs smoothly and no delays occur.

We have a qualified team of reliable and skilful trades that we’ve been working with for many years.

Sit back and relax knowing that we coordinate with our trades to complete the renovation project from start to finish. The license we hold with the Queensland Building & Construction Commission allows us to engage and work on your property with our trades and also include them in our contract with you.
